Hosting and server logs
This website runs on a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. For every request, the server stores technically necessary information: IP address, date and time, the address requested, referrer and browser identification. This serves the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are not combined with other data and are kept only as long as necessary for operation and security.
Contact
If you contact me by email or phone, I process your details to answer your enquiry and to prepare a possible project (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The same applies to the enquiry form: your details (name, email address, phone number, topic and message) are sent to my server and forwarded from there as an email to office@audioneering.com. They are not stored on the server. For sending, I use the email service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA); data may be transferred to the USA, safeguarded by the EU standard contractual clauses. I delete enquiries once they have been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Cookies and consent
Without your consent, this website sets no cookies for analytics or advertising. Your browser stores your decision on Google Analytics locally (in “local storage”) for twelve months, so that you are not asked on every visit. If you choose a language with the language switch (DE/EN), the cookie lang remembers that choice for one year. Both are necessary for the function you requested (Section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021) and are not analysed. You can change your decision on Google Analytics at any time under Cookie settings.
Google Analytics
Only if you consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It shows me which content is read and how visitors find the website.
- Processed are details about your device and browser, the pages visited, time spent, origin (referrer) and your approximate location. Google Analytics 4 does not store complete IP addresses.
- For this, the cookies
_gaand_ga_BY7G0C8121are set. They last up to two years. - Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has found an adequate level of data protection.
- Google deletes the analytics data after the retention period set in Google Analytics, at the latest after 14 months.
- The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021). You can withdraw it at any time under Cookie settings; the analytics cookies are then deleted.

Videos from YouTube and Instagram
This website embeds videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited) and Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland). As long as you do not click on a video, no connection to these services is made. The video is loaded only when you click; the provider then receives your IP address and details about your browser and may set cookies. YouTube videos are loaded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). The providers may transfer data to the USA; both are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Fonts and external links
All fonts are hosted on this server; no external font services are used. Links to other websites (for example LinkedIn or partner companies) are ordinary links. Only when you click them do the privacy policies of those websites apply.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. To do so, write to office@audioneering.com.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
